Simple Chores Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to Simple Chores, provided by nCo_Captain. By using Simple Chores, you agree to these terms.
Purpose of Simple Chores
Simple Chores provides family organization tools for chores, points, rewards, approvals, progress tracking, cloud backup, and shared caregiver access. Simple Chores is intended to support families and does not replace parental judgment or supervision.
Grown-up responsibility
Grown-up accounts are intended for parents, guardians, and caregivers. Adults are responsible for information entered into the app, household invitations they share, rewards they offer, and the supervision of children using the app.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials, parent PIN, devices, and caregiver invitation codes. You agree to provide accurate account information and not use Simple Chores for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity.
Free features
The core chore, points, rewards, and approval tools are available without a paid Family subscription. Available features may evolve as Simple Chores is improved.
Simple Chores Family subscriptions
Simple Chores Family is an optional auto-renewable subscription that may provide cloud backup, shared household access, extended history, and other convenience features described in the app.
Subscription pricing and billing periods are shown before purchase. Payment is charged through the applicable app-store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the app-store account settings before renewal. Store policies govern billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing.
Deleting a Simple Chores grown-up account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Store subscriptions must be managed separately through the applicable store account.
Cloud households
Household owners control caregiver access. Deleting an owner account may permanently delete the owned household, cloud backup, invitations, and memberships. Removing a caregiver ends that caregiver's access to the shared household.
Availability and changes
Simple Chores may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Reasonable efforts are made to keep the app useful and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Your data
You retain responsibility for the family information you enter. Data handling is described in the Simple Chores Privacy Policy.

Simple Chores is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. It is a family organization tool and is not professional, medical, financial, educational, or legal advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, nCo_Captain will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use Simple Chores.
Apple users
For versions obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a separate custom agreement is presented in App Store Connect.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Simple Chores changes. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.
